CJ Perez is a professional basketball player from the Philippines who currently plays for the PBA team San Miguel Beermen. He was born on November 21, 1994, in Bautista, Pangasinan.
Perez played college basketball for the Lyceum Pirates in the NCAA Philippines, where he was a two-time MVP and led the team to the Finals in 2017 and 2018. He was selected as the first overall pick in the 2018 PBA Draft by the Columbian Dyip (now known as the Terrafirma Dyip).
Perez has been recognized as one of the top young talents in Philippine basketball, known for his scoring ability, athleticism, and versatility on both ends of the court. He has represented the Philippines in international competitions as part of the national team.
